Introduction

 

This essay examines current world crises of racial and cultural assimilation, with an emphasis upon the crisis within the Arab Muslim world, where a revolution in consciousness is taking place. The situation is viewed within the esoteric context of the greater and lesser cycles, ray and astrological influences. It is proposed that these events are the crises that will eventually lead to a New World Religion - that recognises all faiths as part of the one Whole.

 

Perceptions of Current World Events

There is no question that any ideas imposed upon host nations by followers of an antiquated religious doctrine must be firmly rejected, whilst at the same time encouraging assimilation into the culture. Imposed doctrine from any outdated and crystallized doctrines must be rejected if they only support a fanatical minority and are not relevant for the modern times.

 

The blending of races and cultures is all part of the Divine Plan and the world currently finds itself at a critical juncture in this process. If we are cultivate a world esoteric view, then we must be sensitive to the inner transformation of consciousness that is taking place and not be blinded by the maya of outer appearances.

 

At the same time however, we must also strive to stay politically informed, sourcing various viewpoints across the spectrum, in order to maintain a balanced view of what is occurring. This is not an easy task, to wade through the sea of propaganda that engulfs us from all sides, where various ideas and agendas are promoted.

We have to be able to develop the discrimination to see through the various slants and spin from individual commentators or those that mass media disseminate. We need to be careful of not being seduced by some very appealing conspiracy theories that might help support our own biases, even if those theories are fact or contain a grain of the truth - as they always do. Indeed, it is said that half truths contain the strongest lie because it contains elements of the truth. How to discriminate?

We particularly need to develop an awareness of not taking the word of the mainstream media as the absolute truth, at face value, for granted or as fact. This is because much mainstream media has become so centralised in the hands of a few, that it does not necessarily reflect the truth; it will tend to reflect a ‘consensus view’ that concurs with the wishes of the status quo, or has other agendas that media owners wish to promulgate.

Hence the need to develop a ‘nose’, an inner sensing through the intuition that must eventually prevail and cut through the thick fog generated by the information age and ‘public opinion’. As creatures of this Fifth Rootrace, we tend to be blinded by the concrete mind that takes outer appearances as literal, that bows down to the behemoth of science and other sources as an unassailable authority that cannot be questioned:

“The Glamour of Authority is a mass glamour in most cases. It has its roots in mass psychology and is one of the indications that humanity is at the nursery stage as yet, wherein men are safeguarded from themselves by the imposition of some rule, some set of laws, some authoritative dictum, emanating from state control, from the rule of an oligarchy, or from the dictatorship of some individual.

It reduces mankind, as far as one can judge, to set forms and standardises men's activities, regimenting their lives and work. It is imposed and ordered through catering to the fear complex, rampant in humanity at this time; and this fear is one of the most fruitful sources of glamour which we have. We might perhaps and with reason regard it as the seed of all glamour upon our planet. Fear has been the incentive to those conditions which have brought about the glamour of the astral plane, though not the illusions of the mental levels of consciousness.

 

When the glamour of authority transfers itself into the spiritual consciousness of man, we have such a state of affairs as the period of the Inquisition in its worst forms, of Church authority, with the emphasis upon organisation, government and penalties, or the unquestioned rule of some teacher.”[1]

During this cusp of the zodiacal ages and the overlapping of several ray cycles, a significant proportion of Humanity is trapped by religious and scientific glamours of authority, in the cul-de-sac of ‘kama manas’ or desire-mind - and this distorts right perception. Because of the materialistic, conservative and traditional nature of many Western nations, a long term vision of a united and harmonious humanity tends to be supplanted in some nations by a short term myopic view that embraces xenophobia, reactionism and exclusivity. In other words, the blending and synthesis of the races is running into some major glitches. Fear of the future creates regressive behavior and so the evolutionary process stalls.

Reaction to Planetary ‘Islamisation’

The growth of Islam around the world proceeds, whilst a zealous and vocal minority of that group preaches a type of credo that hearkens back to the dark ages: a manifesto of hate, the forcing of Sharia law, terrorism, Jihad etc. This has occurred because many European countries have been caught off guard - through genuine motives of assimilation based upon compassion.

 

Some of their motives have been based upon the convenient economic benefits of cheap labour. Yet they have not kept a tight enough rein on the integration process, through education and a firm guiding hand of what is expected of a new immigrant. Hence social security systems have been abused and the religious tolerance of host nations has been slapped in the face by a dogmatic adherence to customs that date back to the seventh century.

 

Jihad

 

Of course, immigrants fresh to a new country are always abused by a minority of racists who are ignorant and intolerant. Other immigrants will experience the indignation of the local populace who see a minority of them abuse the social security system or who do not, cannot through lack of education, learn the local language, breeding further resentment.

The scenario currently unfolding in the West is that the situation could easily escalate and be blown out of proportion, to suit the needs of politicians, media influence and so forth. Since the first ray force of Shamballa has been increasing in its force directly to humanity in the past one hundred years, the point of least resistance politically has been a lean to the right, toward fascism.

 

 

Erudite thinkers today argue that this is already the case and that some European nations and the USA are subversively fascist, yet hide behind the mask of ‘democracy’ or ‘freedom’, whilst controlling and diminishing freedoms such as free speech.

Fascism or dictatorship is a first ray system to which first ray personality Germany and the Nazis fell foul. Democracy is a second ray system, for which second ray souls Britain and USA have been exemplars. Yet the insidious creep of fascist tendencies in these and other nations seems to on the rise. Perhaps it is something that comes every ten years (a first ray cycle) – around the year 2000, similar observations were made and likewise in 2010-2011.

 

A righteous indignation to this situation has steadily built up in those nations; it has not been unwarranted. An opposite pole has emerged in the ‘far right wing’ anti-Islam movement in Europe - that seems to be heading toward the mainstream. On the one hand there has been a rightful rejection of imposed values by some new immigrants, yet on the other there has been an over-vehement reaction to the former. The process has been developing gradually in the past twenty years, breeding new groups of neo-Nazis and ultra right wing groups such as the English Defence League (EDL). Emerging opposite to them is the Unite Against Fascism (UAF) group.

Yet even though the grievances of these groups are somewhat justified (we see the half-truths), the hate agenda from one side is met with militant hate from the other side – a no win situation, throwing gasoline on the fire. (Not so much ‘hate’ with the UAF group but nevertheless a volatility is present that feeds volatility.)

So, how to balance these pairs of opposites? How to tread the middle way of peace, compassion and understanding, emblematic of the second ray of love wisdom and the zodiac sign Libra?; whilst of course rejecting any imposition of old Islamic doctrine upon the host culture. Not an easy path to follow.

Dutch politician Geert Wilders[2] is one face of this new movement, with his sensationalist movie branded as anti-Islam, he has been accused of inciting hate; the movie tends to aim at the lowest common denominator to evoke the most visceral and emotional reactions. Wilders and others like him have been accused of having hard line Zionist agendas, bringing into focus the pairs of opposites with which the Arab-Semitic race are dealing. Extremist Islam and ultra-Zionism are two sides of the same coin.

Right wingers complain about the lack of freedom of speech when they are held accountable for their xenophobia by their respective nations. Yet they accuse the Muslims of xenophobia, which is true - the racial separativeness goes both ways, the resistance to synthesis. Whereas Sharia law exerts an emotional blackmail of fear, Zionist zealots mercilessly hunt down those who exhibit the slightest whiff of ‘anti-Semiticism’.

Many freedoms are being taken away by governments and corporate interests; to blame a group like the Muslims is a form of scape-goating. The middle way must be taken in order to balance the polar opposites – if true racial equality and synthesis is to be brought about. For both sides of the equation, the demonstration of tolerance, compassion and right relationships must be developed.

Jews and Arabs: The Semitic Subrace

Jews and Arabic Muslims are from the same subrace, the third subrace of the Fifth Rootrace (5.3). The Muslims are currently being scape-goated because of some of the following factors:

1. The radical and hateful minority of Muslim terrorists and Jihadists. Nevertheless,  Islam’s terrorism has been created partly by the West’s imperialistic treatment of Muslim countries for centuries. A deep-seated resentment has been bred and this has created a backlash.

2. The enclaves that Muslim immigrants have set up in their host nations, precluding right assimilation, further entrenching or trying to enforce outmoded customs upon the host culture.

3. The slow and conservative response of moderate Islam to the non-assimilators and extremists in their ranks has not served them well; it has sent the wrong message to the rest of the world that the majority condones the actions of its minority and this is not true.

4. The far right Zionist shadow of the Jewish race that wants to dominate the Arab Middle East through Israel.

5. The minority of right wing Western extremists, neo-Nazis etc, who have seized upon world uncertainty, who through their own fear and ignorance, have tried to exaggerate the Muslim situation for their own ends. Mainstream governments and some large media organizations have committed similar offences that have been misleading or a misrepresentation.

6. A large proportion of Western people who are experiencing the ‘impossibility’ of racial assimilation and who are feeling disempowered, are starting to take more notice of extremists and hate mongers in their midst. (It’s the same as the general Muslim population’s relationship to their extremists.)

The Greater Cycles of the Races and the Yugas

 

In order to have an esoteric and global perspective of what is unfolding today, we must continually bear in mind the greater cycles and their influences. At the ending of any age or ray dispensation, it is natural to have crystallisation. We are moving from the Fifth Rootrace and its Kali Yuga cycle, into the Sixth Rootrace and its Satya Yuga cycle.

The two yugas are overlapping, just as those same cycles did at the great turning point of Atlantis, prior to this Fifth Rootrace. As Jesus once said, ‘Let the dead bury their dead’ – an appropriate statement for this Kali Yuga. Let us concentrate on building the subjective structure of the emerging golden age, the Satya Yuga.

 

 

For the sixth subrace to emerge (5.6), there must be a synthesis of all the previous subraces. This is occurring now, though somewhat painfully. Bear in mind that there is an ancient split that occurred between the third subrace of the Fifth Rootrace (5.3: Arab-Semitic), and the latter two subraces (5.4 Celtic-Latin and 5.5 Nordic, Anglo-Saxon).

Subraces of the Fifth Rootrace

There is a legend about three disciples who, back in Lemurian times presented themselves as candidates for initiation, but who would not relinquish their worldly treasures before stepping upon the Threshold of Initiation. It is said that these three disciples were the ancestors of the three major western racial groupings today, which can be generalised as follows:

“1. The Semitic race or races of Biblical and modern times; the Arabs, the Afghans, the Moors and the offshoots and affiliations of those peoples, including the modern Egyptians. These are all descended from the eldest of the three disciples.
[Third subrace 5.3]

2. The Latin peoples and their various branches throughout the world, and also the Celtic races wherever found. These are descended from the second of the three disciples. [Fourth subrace 5.4]

3. The Teutons, the Scandinavians, and the Anglo-Saxons, who are the descendants of the third of the three disciples.”[3] [Fifth subrace 5.5]

The Teutonic, Latin and Semitic groups represent respectively the first three ‘aspects’ of will, love and intelligence. Hence the Shamballa first ray force is expressing very strongly through the northern European root of the Western races (5.5). The point of least resistance is the use of force (will) without mercy (love), although this is tempered somewhat by the soul qualities of some of these nations.

Regarding the old Lemurian legend, gradually the latter fourth and fifth subraces of the Fifth Rootrace came to believe the old stories from Atlantean times and sided with those who were antagonistic to the Semitic people. Of these Semitic tribes, the Jew is prominent and it is interesting to consider Israel currently antagonistic to most of its surrounding Arab nations/fellow tribes; the Semitic people as a whole bear the antagonism of their other two ‘brothers’ - the Latin-Celtic and Teutonic, Nordic, Anglo Saxon subraces.

 

The key for Israel and the Jews in general is that they have a lot of leverage upon these latter subraces to influence their Arab neighbours. This is a fascinating dynamic but is rapidly changing as Egypt’s current liberation in 2011 may reflect.

 

What started in Tunisia is now sweeping the whole region, with protests in Yemen, Syria, Sudan, the Palestinian territories, Libya, Jordan, Iraq, Bahrain, Algeria and Iran. The Arab world is freeing itself from repressive regimes and the yoke of religious fundamentalism must be part of that equation. Crystallisation is part of a natural process of manifestation, all forms need to crystallise to allow death and the liberation of the life principle - this is what the world is witnessing today.

This ancient Lemurian story may explain somewhat the antagonism and distrust that is felt toward Semitic people today, a hangover that still lingers in the racial memory. (However, it is a much deeper mystery that goes back to our ‘first solar system’.[4])

Most of the Arab, Afghani and modern Egyptians of the Semitic subrace (5.3) have adopted Islam as their main religion, hence a reversion by some of this group to distorted interpretations of the Koran, extremes of Sharia law, the wearing of the burka, female genital mutilation, the Taliban fundamentalists and so forth. The problem of the outgoing sixth ray has been compounded by the incoming force of the first ray of will or power, creating ruthlessness and cruelty – Pluto and Mars.

Jews, Christians and Muslims all belong all to the same flock - the three ‘Abrahamic religions’. How can accusing and pointing out wrong-doing toward one group take place whilst the other group cannot take responsibility for its own culture and excesses? If any student does the research, they will find just as much vile racist material in the original Jewish Talmud as in the Koran.[5]

 

Likewise, in the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible, there are littered many passages that could easily be interpreted wrongly or too literally in a violent or separative manner. The savagery and barbarism within just one religion has reached unbelievable and incomprehensible proportions between the Protestants and Catholics. (It is interesting to note that Buddhism is the only major religion that has remained a shining example of non-violence, peace and compassion.)

Many adherents to these Western faiths interpret them according to a world view that is hundreds or thousands of years old, no longer appropriate for our times. Some of those adherents have not even journeyed in consciousness through this Piscean Age that is now closing. The ruthlessness and cruelty of the punishments in these old religious texts may have been ‘needed’ then for certain recalcitrant populations, but certainly are not appropriate now in an age where compassion and understanding are in such short supply.

The Lesser Cycles of Pisces and the Sixth Ray

To keep a perspective of current events, we must remind ourselves that the world is still emerging from the last part of the Piscean Age. Through the force of Pisces’ esoteric ruler Pluto, there is an enormous destruction being wrought upon the layers of cultural attitudes that have been built up during the Age of Pisces.

 

Those who are more conscious are helping to construct the emerging Aquarian paradigm that recognizes the Brotherhood of Humanity. Yet certain forces of the old Piscean Age are still dominant and seek to hold onto the past, the period of the last 2,000 years when Christianity and Islam emerged.

The sixth ray of Devotion or Idealism has been gradually going ‘out of incarnation’ since 1625, yet because of its long cycle of incarnation, its effects are still very strong. It is the ray ruled by Mars and Neptune and conditions Christianity and Islam. Hence the many bloody wars in the name of these respective religions. They are both very martial (Mars) and idealistic (Neptune). Neptune is the co-ruler of Pisces hence it is a force that ties the current cycle of the sixth ray with that of Pisces.

 

Aspirants and disciples are also conditioned by this energy - as are some nations like the USA, Russia, Spain and Italy. Nevertheless, with both the sixth ray and Pisces, the world is experiencing their respective shadow expressions of fanaticism and fundamentalism.

Hence Jihad is a force present in all Western nations. Jihad means ‘holy war’, somewhat of a contradiction in terms. An examination of many sixth ray entities, be they nations, religions, ordinary people or disciples on the path, reveals how powerful the Mars force expresses itself. It is in turn compounded into greater complexity through Neptune’s lower illusory expression, plus its idealism, working upon the unredeemed form of Humanity. Hence the ‘heaven’ or ‘paradise’ that the suicide bomber is so certain of visiting once his ‘God given’ mission is accomplished; or the justification, ‘rightness’ (righteousness) of the Holy Crusades – for both Muslims and Christians.

 

For many aspirants and disciples upon the path, this sixth ray energy is powerful, it is the very force that propels their ‘aspiration’. It is expressed mainly in the emotional body, but also through souls and personalities. It has been said that the sixth ray is one of the most difficult in human evolution because of these forces.

 

Hence it must be acknowledged by those upon the sixth ray just how prone they are to the dark shadow of this ray in all its manifestations: xenophobia, separativeness, fanaticism, fundamentalism etc; how easily those influenced by the sixth ray are swayed by other sixth ray issues - in the area of religion in particular.

How many of us truly have the courage to look inward and indentify our individual, cultural or racial dweller, rather than project it on to another race and make them responsible?

 

Whether you declare Jihad or are part of the western ‘Jihad Watch’[6], one is as sixth ray, fanatical and fundamentalist as the other. USA is a sixth ray personality that has a somewhat nationalistic, Christian projection toward sixth ray Islam - and vice-versa. 

If one is influenced by sixth ray co-workers that tend to reinforce personal predispositions, be aware of the very adamant views of their partisan politics – and frankly in some cases, racial prejudice. One must reflect upon just how well informed or wide-ranging are one’s enquiries in the political or religious spheres, or does one take the word of other co-workers as ‘gospel’? Rigorous discrimination is needed. DK advises aspirants to the Path and also older disciples the following:

 

“… [the aspirant must] … focus on constructive activity and … refrain from pulling down the old order of living. … [S]He must be set to building for the future, and to thinking along the new lines. … [S]He must be warned not to waste time in attacking that which is undesirable, but must instead bend all his energies to creating the new temple of the Lord through which the glory may be manifested.  In this way public attention will gradually be focussed upon the new and beautiful, and the old established creations will fall into decay for lack of attention and so disappear.

 

[S]He must be taught also that partisanship[7] is in no way a sign of spiritual development.  [S]He will not therefore use the words anti this or pro that.  Such terms automatically breed hatred and attack, and effort to resist change. They put the user on the defensive.  Every class of human beings is a group of brothers. Catholics, Jews, Gentiles, occidentals and orientals are all the sons of God.”[8]

The sixth ray is so militant and responds easily to sixth ray Muslim fear and maya-manipulation; from hardline Muslims or their opposite critics. In owning one’s sixth ray, ask the question of how you may have responded to movies like Gladiator for instance? Was your passion aroused to ‘unleash hell’, did you attain the vicarious thrill of drawing your sword and hacking through the godless hordes? (I think many would give a resounding, ‘yes’!) If so, then it is a good indicator of the power and fury of this ray, how it can achieve undue dominance, if not possession in an individual, especially one ‘on the path’.

 

There were many zealous aspirants and disciples determined to do ‘god’s work’ during The Inquisition, who murdered many ‘witches’ in Europe and hundreds of thousands of the indigenous inhabitants of the Americas; and they were representatives of a god of love? What is the difference to the Muslim extremist with similar attitudes?

The sixth ray is so idealistic and impressionable because of Neptune’s influence, so one’s perceptions around themes of loyalty, culture and belief can be easily distorted. Another sixth ray test (or the ‘even’ rays in general), is to ask yourself the question, how much are you a passive receiver of entertainment, whether television or movies; how passively undiscriminating are you when it comes to being informed by the many types of media now in existence? In other words, how much of the mental discriminator do you put on hold and how much astral polarization do you allow?

It is easy to isolate a group and blame them for what is happening on a world scale - it is a narrow sixth ray, Piscean vision. The Christians had their fundamentalism during the Crusades and The Inquisition. Reflect if you will on the terrorism meted out through the imperialism of nations like the USA, Britain and France, in the past few hundred years. Some nations have been founded on terrorism, hence a balanced view needs to be cultivated, in branding Muslims as the only terrorists, as this is simply psychological projection on a national or racial scale.

 

The New Group of World Servers


If one aspires to be a member of the New Group of World Servers (NGWS), the realization of the function of that group within the planetary body must be understood. It is said that the NGWS embodies the planetary ajna centre through which energy can be directed around the planet and through which average and unawakened Humanity (throat centre) can be spiritually influenced.[9]

Hence, in relation to how you as a member of this group can function subjectively, there has to be an emulation of how Hierarchy functions (the Masters of Wisdom, planetary heart centre):

“I ask you also to sever your connection with all groups which are seeking to destroy and to attack, no matter how sincere their motive. Range yourself on the side of the workers for constructive ends, who are fighting no other groups or organisations and who have eliminated the word "anti" out of their vocabulary. 

Stand on the side of those who are silently and steadily building for the new order—an order which is founded on love, which builds under the impulse of brotherhood, and which possesses a realisation of a brotherhood which is based on the knowledge that we are each and all, no matter what our race, the children of the One Father, and who have come to the realisation that the old ways of working must go and the newer methods must be given a chance".[10]

As an aspirant or disciple, one has to distinguish the work that one does and to find one’s place. Do you want to work in the world of meaning or the world of outer effects and appearances?

“It is humanity which determines its own destiny. Disciples point the way, indicate the vision, set a needed example and emphasise the ancient landmarks".[11]

The Three Main Groups of Humanity

The following is a handy way to understand the three major groupings in humanity.

“To those of us who are working on the inner side, the workers in the world fall into three groups:

1. Those, few and far between, who are true Aquarians.  These work under real difficulties, for their vision is beyond the grasp of the majority, and they meet often lack of understanding, frequent disappointment in their fellow workers, and much loneliness. 

2. Those who are straight Pisceans.  These work with much greater facility and find a more rapid response from those around them.  Their work is more doctrinal, less inclusive and coloured by the spirit of separation.  They include the mass of world workers in all the various departments of human thought and welfare.

3. Those Pisceans who are enough developed to respond to the Aquarian message, but who-—as yet-—cannot trust themselves to employ the real Aquarian methods of work and message.

For instance, they have in the political field, a sense of internationalism, but they cannot apply it when it comes to the understanding of others.  They think they have a universal consciousness, but when it comes to a test, they discriminate and eliminate. They constitute a much smaller group than the true Pisceans and are doing good work and filling a much needed place. 

The problem they present however to the Aquarian worker lies in the fact that though they respond to the ideal and regard themselves as of the new age, they are not truly so.  They see a bit of the vision and have grasped the theory but cannot express it in action.”[12]

The previous section has been underlined because it is a rapidly expanding group composed of a myriad of smaller groups, including individuals in ‘new age’ groups.

The New World Religion

As cultures and races merge into a synthesis, it stands to reason that a new world religion will eventually emerge, that draws upon the best of all traditions. This is occurring now, hence the crises in all religious fields with the emergence of fundamentalism, the moving away from the churches by millions, the adopting of eastern traditions such as Buddhism and so forth:

“The great theme of the new world religion will be the recognition of the many divine approaches and the continuity of revelation which each of them conveyed; the task ahead of the spiritually minded people of the world today is to prepare humanity for the imminent and (perhaps) the greatest of all the Approaches. The method employed will be the scientific and intelligent use of Invocation and Evocation and the recognition of their tremendous potency.”[13]

Hence the importance during this transition period of an ongoing interfaith dialogue (there are many groups involved in this), the firm rebuttal of imposed archaic religious distortions, and the cultivation of tolerance and understanding. With the cycle of most world religions in their Kali Yuga phase of death and destruction, it is timely that the best of all of them is synthesized into one whole:

“All past divine revelations have brought humanity to the point where (spiritually speaking) man's essential divinity is theologically recognised, where the brotherhood of man and the Fatherhood of God are recognised ideals and where science has demonstrated the fact of an unfolding purpose and the existence of a fundamental, intelligent Agent behind all phenomena. Step by step man has been led through prayer, the voice of desire, through worship, the recognition of deity, through affirmation of the fact of human identity of nature with the divine, to a belief in the divinity of man.”[14]

Note the use of the word ‘science’ here, indicating a basic agreement between these two areas of human expression. The new Aquarian science of ‘invocation and evocation’ will replace all the old religions. Deity will be invoked through ritual and ceremony, prayer and meditation, and a corresponding evocative response will be stepped down through trained initiates and disciples working in the area of religions.

This is already occurring through monthly full moon meditations occurring around the globe, where energy is invoked, received and directed. Eventually some groups will be given the responsibility of taking candidates through the first two initiations.

“This new religion will take the form of a conscious unified group approach to the world of spiritual values, evoking in its turn reciprocal action from Those Who are the citizens of that world—the planetary Hierarchy and affiliated groups.”[15]

The basic truths enunciated by this new world religion will cover some of the following:

“1. The Law of Compassion. This is the truth of right relationship, of loving understanding, of actively expressed Love. It is the foundation of brotherhood and the expression of the inner unity.

2. The Fact of God. This is the truth that Being is God Immanent and God Transcendent; it involves the recognition of the great Whole and the related part…

Serving the Greater Whole Through Right Relationships

The views of political leaders (in 2011), the mainstream and even esoteric students are far too narrow. They call multiculturalism a failure, yet they fail to recall that it has only been an experiment for sixty years at most; the weight of centuries of ancient cultures does not lift in such a short time span.

The declarations of ‘failure’ by various leaders seem to be an xenophobic excuse, though protestations of abuse by Muslims are valid; but this abuse is not by the majority. When you boil this racial crucible right down to its essentials, what is left is unalloyed separativeness, cultural and racial prejudice. It goes both ways, from Muslims toward non-Muslims and vice-versa.

The real failure is one of human relationships. We all know how challenging relationships are within our own individual lives, those closest to us, our communities, our nations. Hence the greater failure of right relationship between races and cultures is no surprise; they just need a lot more work!

Right relationships externally can only be brought about through right internal relationship between soul and personality - within an individual, group, nation or race. Unless inner disarmament has taken place, in other words, that militant Mars has been disarmed from its dominance of the solar plexus (home of the lower ego), then the time-bomb will keep ticking and eventually explode.

All groups have their fundamentalists, including the esoteric groups (eso-terrorists), so why do some students of the wisdom want to blame a small part of the whole? All they are doing is going along with the ‘straight Pisceans’ in the passage above. If one purports to be an esotericist or occultist, then one must practice what one preaches by living in the world of meaning, rather than the world of effects and maya. Trained white magicians can shape this world of meaning and consciously devitalise maya and illusion.

In an unpublished letter, the Master DK said when advising his disciple FCD (the Jewish psychologist, Roberto Assagioli), about immediate problems in his race: ‘act as if Zionism does not exist'; a hard entreaty to swallow for FCD or any student of world politics, as ironically, the extent of Zionist influence has picked up where the Nazis left off. Humanity’s dweller works powerfully through the Zionist/Muslim extremist/Nazi/fundamentalist paradigm.

Students of esotericism must learn that their brief is to 'bring out the love that underlies the happenings of the time' (Venus), and not get caught up in the hate and aggression of Mars.

For those who wish to serve in the ranks of the New Group of World Servers, who will stimulate the souls of humanity and inspire the intelligentsia if the NGWS cannot? Who will build the New Order of Hierarchy according to the sensed Planetary Plan?

A far more detached attitude from world affairs must be cultivated, to be in the world but not of it, one of the greatest challenges to any passionate disciple - who must cease allowing themselves to be side-tracked by the world of appearances. If one affirms that one is an ‘accepted disciple’ (and many do), then consider,

“… accepted disciples learn to work in the same manner as does the Hierarchy. The Hierarchy works within the field of the world of human living; the New Group provides a similar field for the new disciple. It is towards that group also that initiates in the various Ashrams converge at times, in order to study the calibre and quality of the disciples who are engaged in world salvage, for it is through these disciples that the Hierarchy carries out its plans. Initiates do their main work upon mental levels and from behind the scenes, and because of that their potency is great …”[17]

Conclusion

Changes are occurring now with great rapidity as the old order crumbles and a new paradigm emerges. Fundamentalism and crystallisation will not be around forever, they are cyclic in their manifestations. There is much that needs to be done by the NGWS in so many fields, to effect the ongoing destruction process and make a transition between the ages, yet proceed it must.

We can but aspire to help build this new world in the subtle realm, yet remain grounded in the work of the everyday world. We can sit with the Buddha under the Banyan Tree and watch the river of life rush by, yet not identify ourselves with that ever-changing flow.
